Enterprises set to deliver a faster, better service with a simpler 5G path from BICS


Anyone who has read about World War I in any depth will be familiar with the Battle of Çanakkale - also known as the Gallipoli Campaign. When British and French forces attacked Istanbul in an attempt to overthrow the Ottoman Empire, they got quite a lot more than they bargained for. The Turkish resistance was so mighty that it became encapsulated in the now common Turkish phrase: “Çanakkale is impassable.” And now, over a century later, it gives its name to a megaproject.


A Scottish-based manufacturing facility which will enable the production of lower carbon cement products has secured a £500,000 award from Zero Waste Scotland’s Circular Economy Investment Fund.

 


Metro Istanbul first inaugurated its urban rail systems in 1988 by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. The company, which continues its activities as a subsidiary of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), operates the existing metro, tram, and funicular and cable car lines in Istanbul.
