A desire to bring social, cultural and economic links closer across Europe is drawing ever nearer thanks to the stunningly complex Lyon-Turin rail project. While Lyon, located in central eastern France, and Turin, in northern Italy, are relatively close, the sticking point is what has historically separated them – the Alps!
 

Waste foil is one of the harder materials to recycle and most of the time it is sent for incineration. BusinessWaste.co.uk however, have successfully created a route for recycling that turns polymer-based label waste and foil printing waste into new recycled products.

For the "Wysoka" wind farm in Poland, the Swedish wind farm developer OX2 has placed an order with the Nordex Group for the supply of eleven N149/5.X turbines. Additionally, the order includes a 30-year Premium Service for the turbines.

In the north-west of Poland, approximately 125 kilometres to the south-east of Koszalin will be the site of the 63 MW "Wysoka" wind farm. The N149/5.X turbines, mounted on tubular steel towers with 125-meter hub heights, will be provided by the Nordex Group

The Austrian writer Karl Kraus once famously quipped: “The Streets of Vienna Are Paved with Culture, the Streets of Other Cities with Asphalt”. Indeed, few cities - if any - can boast of the city’s cultural legacy, which was shaped by the likes of Mozart, Liszt and Beethoven. A Scottish-based manufacturing facility which will enable the production of lower carbon cement products has secured a £500,000 award from Zero Waste Scotland’s Circular Economy Investment Fund.

Metro Istanbul first inaugurated its urban rail systems in 1988 by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. The company, which continues its activities as a subsidiary of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), operates the existing metro, tram, and funicular and cable car lines in Istanbul.
